Stepping Up My Hair Care Game With Ayurveda!
Ayurvedic hair care has been a topic that has sparked my interest recently. I’ve been reading and watching videos (particularly YouTuber CurlyProverbz) about the strengthening and growth benefits that Ayurvedic treatments offer. “Ayurveda” is a holistic healing system created in India more than 3,000 years ago. The basis of this system is the promotion of good health with treatments geared toward helping specific health issues using natural, organic ingredients.
When it comes to caring for my hair, I do my very best to keep things as simple as possible. My hair care regimen has worked well with keeping my hair healthy and growing steadily, which is great! My Mid-Year, Mid-Life Glow Up Project is in FULL EFFECT and now I’m ready to take my hair care routine up another notch with the help of Ayurvedic hair products.

Belle Bar Organic/Curly Proverbz in NYC!
Creating an Ayurvedic hair care plan for maximum hair growth is one of the goals that I’ve set in my Mid-Year,Mid-Life Glow Up Project plan. Sooooo, when I learned that beauty brand, Belle Bar Organic and YouTube vlogger, Curly Proverbz were having an event in New York City, I was beyond excited!
Guilt-Free and Oh So Delish!
Shrimp scampi over rice or pasta is one of my favorite meals. It tastes so good but with all the added butter used in the traditional recipe, it’s not the healthiest meal to eat on a regular basis. There are many rice and pasta dishes that I wish I could get away with eating every single day! But of course that it’s not the best thing healthwise. My green smoothie life has sent me on a mission to find recipes that are healthy AND delicious! I’m all about better nutrition, but I also love GOOD food.
Where I Am Going From Here?
So after a triumphant nine-pound weight loss on J.J. Smith’s 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse, where do I go from here? Many people finish the program with concerns about regaining the weight that was lost. I’m no different! After dedicating the time, focus and energy that it took to get such amazing results, I have every intention on continuing with a healthy lifestyle and steady weight loss!
I’m now one week “post-green smoothie cleanse.” First, I wanted to make sure to wean myself off of it properly. J.J. Smith strongly advises doing this since immediately going back to eating meat and other “regular” solid foods can cause major bloating and discomfort, not to mention weight gain. With all of this in mind, here is what I’ve done so far along with my current eating plan.
A Delicious and Filling Low-Calorie Soup
J.J. Smith’s Fat Flush Soup is designed to assist with weaning off of the 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. This vegetable soup not only contains a few of my favorites things to eat (sweet potatos, carrots and beans), it “restores the body’s acid alkaline and sodium potassium balance.” It’s packed with nutritious superfoods enriched with antioxidants and fiber that aid with flushing out toxins and fat from the body.
It does all of this plus it’s very delicious and keeps you nice and full.
